Weekend Recap!

This pretty much sums up our CRAZY weekend!  We had so much fun this past weekend but things were moving at such a quick pace the whole time that I didn’t have time to stop and take very many pictures 😦  However, I’m happy to say that I enlisted my sister to take pictures of Camryn’s Birthday Party on Sunday so I’m hoping she came through. I’ll be sharing those on Thursday!

On Friday, I volunteerd in Parker’s classroom and came home for a bit before heading back up to school for The Fun Run (which is his annual school fundraiser). About a half an hour before the run I got a call from the school nurse saying Parker was sick and I needed to come pick him up. He was so bummed to miss the run but good news is he won a pedometer, he was pretty happy about this!:)

Later Friday afternoon, my mom, Grandma and sister arrived at our house.  As I mentioned in a previous post, my sister lives in San Fransisco so the kids and I were SUPER excited for her to arrive.  My Grandma came up from Arkansas to celebrate Camryn’s birthday too! #blessed  Friday night, my sister, brother and sister-in-law met up for drinks. It was so good to have us all together. #ineedtogetbetterattakingpicsstat Jared was a trooper and stayed back with the kiddos.

Bright and early Saturday morning, Jared and Cami headed to Menards for some more supplies for the “home project”. #FTL  #isitdoneyet  I thought he deserved a special shout out for doing this on a crazy busy weekend! Also, I’m thinking that since this was the one and only time either of us had a quite moment to ourselves with one of the kids…that is why this picture even exists. I’ll take it!

Jared’s family arrived Saturday afternoon and met us at the hockey rink to see Parker skate. He was really excited to show off his skills! Afterwards, he kids headed to the hotel where Jared’s family stayed and swam for a bit before heading back to our house for pizza and family time. This is the where the CRAZY, LOUD, LOVE part came in!

Sunday morning,  Jared made the traditional Sunday morning breakfast of French Toast and bacon and we got the kids ready for church. He and the older two headed off to church while myself, my sissy, mom and Grandma made the final party preparations. After church, we all gathered to celebrate our sweet Camryn’s first birthday. I cannot believe how quickly this past year has flow by.  This little girl is perfection, can’t wait to share with you her party details on Thursday!

Thanks for stopping by!

XO,

FMM
